| Obverse description | Orange guilloche underprint covers the entire field, with a decorative oval cartouche at centre framing the bold blue letterpress inscription DEUX FRANCS on a solid dark panel, below which the issue date and signature lines for l'Administrateur délégué and le Président appear. Two symmetrical figural vignettes flank the central oval, each composed of two putti supporting a medallion bearing the numeral 2 in blue. A lower rectangular panel carries the issuer's corporate notice, with the printer's imprint L. DANEL – LILLE at the bottom centre. |
