The design, engraved by Matevž Zalar, is executed in a bold, graphic style. The curved legend along the left and lower field reads 'POSTOJNSKA JAMA·1213-2013·SLOVENIJA', commemorating the 800th anniversary of the cave's first recorded visit. The outer ring bears the twelve stars of the European Union. |
