Obverse description The inner disc depicts a stylised rendering of Hladnikia pastinacifolia, a rare endemic Slovenian plant, with its scientific name arcing along the lower left of the design. Surrounding the central motif, the legend reads '200 LET', 'BOTANIČNI VRT', 'LJUBLJANA', and 'SLOVENIJA 2010', commemorating the bicentenary of the Ljubljana Botanical Garden. The design was engraved by Goradz Učakar. The outer ring carries the twelve stars of the European Union in relief.
