That near-impossibly small figure places it among the lowest official eurozone circulating commemoratives ever produced, and legitimate examples command multiples of face value almost immediately upon release.
Collectors should be aware that Monaco's 2-euro commemoratives are frequently counterfeited using common eurozone blanks. The Gadoury reference MC201 is the standard attribution for authentication purposes.
