| Obverse description | The inner core of the coin features a dual portrait composition commemorating 175 years since the reign of Grand Duke Guillaume II. To the left, an equestrian statue of Grand Duke Guillaume II (1792–1849) is depicted in profile; to the right, a left-facing effigy of the reigning Grand Duke Henri occupies the dominant field. A curved legend in the upper left reads 'GROUSSHERZOGE VU LËTZEBUERG' and 'GUILLAUME II 1792–1849' in semicircular form. The anniversary numeral '175' and the date '2024' appear in the lower field beneath the portrait of Henri, with the mint mark 'CP' also present.
