背面描述	Central design features a bold cross pattée set within a quadrilobe (quatrefoil) frame, dividing the field into four compartments. The four cantons carry, reading clockwise from upper left, the date (1704), the mint mark S (Seville), the denomination numeral 2, and the assayer initial P. The circumferential legend HISPANIARUM REX, identifying the monarch as King of the Spains, runs around the periphery in Latin capital letters with pellet stops. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle and a toothed outer rim consistent with early eighteenth-century milled Spanish gold coinage.
