The left bust faces right and the right bust faces left, both wearing open crowns with fleurs-de-lis and jewelled bands. A small mintmaster's mark appears between the busts in the lower field. The peripheral legend, rendered in Gothic uncial characters, runs continuously around the circumference within a beaded border, reading in the name of the Holy Roman Emperor Ferdinand. |
