A princely crown surmounts the shield at the top of the design. The Latin legend encircles the composition, reading FERD ELECT COL EPS MONA BA DVX, referencing Ferdinand of Bavaria as Elector, Bishop of Cologne, Bishop of Münster, and Duke of Bavaria. The entire design is set within the characteristic square klippe format with a beaded border. |
