正面描述	Bare-headed effigy of Prince George of Greece facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair and short beard. The engraver's signature A. BORRЕЛ appears in small letters beneath the truncation. The surrounding legend, interrupted at the base by the date 1901 flanked by decorative stops, reads ΠΡΙΓΚΗΨ ΓΕΩΡΓΙΟΣ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ ΥΠΑΤΟΣ ΑΡΜΟΣΤΗΣ ΕΝ ΚΡΗΤΗ, identifying him as Prince George of Greece, High Commissioner in Crete. The portrait is executed in the academic French medallic style characteristic of the Monnaie de Paris.

背面描述	The full coat of arms of the Cretan State occupies the central field, depicting the Greek royal shield charged with a cross, supported by two figures and surmounted by a royal crown, the whole set beneath a draped mantle topped by a second crown. The legend ΚΡΗΤΙΚΗ ΠΟΛΙΤΕΙΑ arcs around the upper periphery, while the denomination 2 ΔΡΑΧΜΑΙ is inscribed in the lower exergue. The heraldic composition is rendered in fine detail consistent with the medallic engraving tradition of the Monnaie de Paris.
