| Obverse description | The coat of arms of the Republic of Palau is depicted centrally within a shield, featuring a traditional scene with a figure holding a trident, a reclining female figure, and a canoe above the escutcheon. The inscription REPUBLIC OF PALAU arcs along the upper rim, flanked on either side by five stars arranged vertically in the field.
