The upper portion of the field depicts a dramatic total solar eclipse — the darkened lunar disc surrounded by a luminous corona rendered in violet and grey tones — set against a heavily textured, cloud-streaked sky. In the middle ground, a humpback whale glides gracefully beneath the eclipse, its pale underside contrasting with the darkened waters.
