| 正面描述 | Right-facing diademed and draped effigy of Queen Elizabeth II after the portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley, his initials 'IRB' incused below the neck truncation. The legend 'TOKELAU' arcs above the effigy in the upper field, with 'ELIZABETH II' inscribed in a curved legend below. A depiction of the Tokelau coat of arms or ceremonial vessel appears in the lower central field, accompanied by a ribbon bearing the Tokelauan motto 'MO TE ATUA', with the denomination 'TWO DOLLARS' inscribed along the lower margin. The entire design is set against a deeply mirrored black proof field. |

Tokelau's coinage authority sits with New Zealand, which administers the territory, but the actual legal framework for issuing collector coins was formalized through New Zealand legislation in 1978. The islands themselves have no indigenous minting tradition — every coin bearing the Tokelau name has been produced entirely for the numismatic export market, struck under contract at foreign facilities.
This is the second of a three-part series. Fractional series structured this way sell each release separately, which drives collector acquisition of the full set across multiple purchase events.
