Bilingual inscriptions 'THE SERIES' and 'LA SÉRIE' appear alongside '50 YEARS ANS' commemorating the fiftieth anniversary of the historic series. The outer nickel-plated steel ring bears the coaches' initials and the players' jersey numbers, encircling the central core as a tribute to the full Team Canada roster. The denomination '2 DOLLARS' and country name 'CANADA' are also inscribed on the reverse. A colorized variant was issued alongside the standard circulation version. |
