| Reverse description | The upper half of the reverse features a full-colour appliqué depicting the Concorde in supersonic flight against a blue sky with clouds, flanked to the right by the Union Jack flag. In the lower, uncoloured half of the field, a raised three-dimensional frontal view of the Concorde with landing gear extended occupies the centre. The inscription SUPERSONIC CONCORDE arcs across the upper portion of the coloured zone, while MACH 2.20 appears in raised lettering across the lower field, with the numeral 2.20 set within a stylised rectangular panel partially coloured in blue. The denomination and fineness 1OZ 999 SILVER are inscribed along the lower rim. |

Niue has operated as a prolific licensed issuer for commemorative coinage since the 1990s, its numismatic program generating far more revenue than the island's GDP from fishing and agriculture combined. The Concorde subject here is well-trodden territory for novelty silver — Air France Flight 4590 crashed in July 2000, grounding the entire fleet, and British Airways made the final commercial Concorde flight in October 2003. Within a few years, the type had become a staple of themed commemorative programs worldwide.
KM#603 is one of several Concorde-themed issues struck for Niue around this period, distinguishing it from similar pieces requires attention to the specific reverse design variant and accompanying documentation.
