The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank serves eight island territories — Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines — and issues coinage under a single unified authority, a monetary arrangement dating to 1965 under the predecessor East Caribbean Currency Authority. This 2022 collector issue was struck in the final months of Elizabeth II's reign; she died in September of that year, making late-2022 issues bearing her effigy among the last produced under her name by any issuing body.
