| Descrizione del rovescio | Full-color applied depiction of the coat of arms of Antigua and Barbuda, centrally positioned against a matte silver field bearing a six-pointed star in low relief. The shield displays a black chief with a rising golden sun, blue and white wavy horizontal stripes, and a golden sugar mill tower; the crest above features a pineapple amid hibiscus flowers and a helmet with mantling. Two fallow deer serve as supporters on either side, standing on a green grassy compartment, with a red scroll below bearing the motto EACH ENDEAVOURING ALL ACHIEVING in gilt lettering. Seven five-pointed stars are incuse around the perimeter of the field. The country name ANTIGUA & BARBUDA arcs along the upper legend in raised Latin letters, and the date 2022 appears in the lower field. |

The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank serves eight island territories — Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines — and issues coinage under a single unified authority, a monetary arrangement dating to 1965 under the predecessor East Caribbean Currency Authority. This 2022 collector issue was struck in the final months of Elizabeth II's reign; she died in September of that year, making late-2022 issues bearing her effigy among the last produced under her name by any issuing body.
