| Beschrijving voorzijde | Right-facing diademed and draped bust of Queen Elizabeth II, modeled after the fourth definitive effigy by Ian Rank-Broadley, whose initials IRB appear truncated below the neck. The peripheral legend is divided, reading ELIZABETH II to the left and NIUE TWO DOLLARS to the right, with the date 2021 positioned in the lower field. The antiqued finish lends the coin a matte, antique character throughout. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A full-bodied Brontosaurus sauropod dinosaur rendered in vivid green polychrome coloring dominates the center of the field, depicted facing right with its long neck raised and jaws open, revealing a red interior. A detailed Jurassic landscape surrounds the animal, featuring a volcanic eruption to the left, prehistoric trees, low-relief rocky terrain, ferns in the foreground, and billowing clouds in the upper field, with a pterosaur in flight at the upper left. The legend BRONTOSAURUS arcs along the upper border, while the inscription 1 oz 999 Fine Silver appears in the lower exergual area. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Niue has long served as a convenient issuing authority for novelty bullion programs with no domestic circulation intent — this piece is squarely in that category. The "Brontosaurus" name itself carries a complicated taxonomic history: the genus was synonymized with Apatosaurus in 1903 and spent the better part of a century considered invalid before a 2015 phylogenetic study by Tschopp, Mateus, and Benson formally rehabilitated it as a distinct genus.
The coin's existence owes more to collector demand for dinosaur-themed silver than to anything originating in Niue.
