Beschrijving voorzijde Right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, wearing a diadem and pearl drop earring, as designed by Ian Rank-Broadley. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the left rim and NIUE along the upper right, with TWO DOLLARS descending along the right rim. The date 2017 appears in the exergue below the portrait, and the engraver's initials IRB are visible beneath the truncation of the bust. The field exhibits an antique finish characteristic of this collector issue.

Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse features a vivid full-color portrait of Vice-Admiral Horatio Lord Nelson occupying the right half of the field, depicted in his Royal Navy dress uniform with blue coat, gold epaulettes, red sash, and medals, holding a scroll in his left hand. To his left, rendered in antique silver relief, is a dramatic naval battle scene depicting sailing warships of the line engaged in combat at the Battle of Trafalgar, with sails torn and vessels in distress upon turbulent seas. The legend TRAFALGAR · 1805 arcs along the upper portion of the field in bold raised lettering. The fineness inscription 1 oz .999 FINE SILVER appears along the lower field beneath the battle scene. The contrast between the colorized figure of Nelson and the uncolored relief of the naval engagement creates a striking two-dimensional artistic effect.
