| Obverse description | Uncrowned right-facing effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, sculpted by Canadian artist Steven Rosati, occupies the bimetallic golden-toned center. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine detail to the hair and collar. The legend CHARLES III arcs along the left of the outer nickel-steel ring, D·G·REX along the right, and the date 2025 appears at the base of the ring. The engraver's initials SR are visible in small characters at the lower right of the portrait within the inner disk. |
