Niue has operated as a platform for novelty bullion issues since the 1990s, leasing its sovereign issuing authority to foreign mints — primarily the Polish Mint — in exchange for licensing revenue. This piece belongs to a tarot series, and the rectangular format is a deliberate production choice by the Polish Mint to echo the physical proportions of a tarot card itself.
