| Reverse description | The reverse is struck on the same shaped flan, depicting the outline of Gonzo's head in uncoloured relief against a polished silver field. At the centre of the field, the Public Seal of Niue is rendered in raised relief, featuring its central floral motif within a beaded circular border, surmounted by a royal crown and flanked by crossed implements, with the legend 'PUBLIC SEAL OF NIUE' surrounding the central device. Curved inscriptions arcing across the upper field read 'TWO DOLLARS · 1 OZ 999 PURE SILVER · 2025 · © DISNEY'. In the lower field, a unique edition number appears in blue coloured numerals in the format '0000 / 1000', indicating the individual serial number within a limited mintage of 1,000 pieces. The legends 'ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI' appear in association with the seal device. |

| Additional information |
The "Gonzo" designation here refers to Hunter S. Thompson's alter ego from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and Niue's licensing-driven commemorative program has made the island's name familiar to collectors entirely disconnected from the Pacific. Niue generates a meaningful share of government revenue through exactly these arrangements with foreign mints and IP holders.
Charles III's effigy appears on the obverse by standard Commonwealth obligation — his first appearances on Niue issues began replacing Elizabeth II's portrait following her death in September 2022.
