| Beschrijving voorzijde | The coin is struck in the shape of a Fender Stratocaster electric guitar. The obverse features a right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II as a tribute to the late monarch, positioned on the body of the guitar-shaped flan, rendered in reverse proof finish. Concentric arc lines radiate across the body of the instrument, evoking the contours of the Stratocaster's iconic double-cutaway silhouette. The legend ELIZABETH II · SOLOMON ISLANDS · 2 DOLLARS runs along the neck of the guitar, with the date 2024 inscribed near the upper body. A serial number 0001 appears in the lower body area, and the inscription Fender 70th Anniversary Stratocaster 1954–2024 is present on the left side of the body. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Antigua Guitar Company built its first Stratocaster-style instruments in the late 1970s using a distinctive antique white-to-brown sunburst finish that gave the brand its name. Fender's lawsuit era sent many smaller manufacturers scrambling, and Antigua quietly folded before the decade ended, leaving its short production run as the primary collector interest today.
The Solomon Islands have become a preferred issuing authority for themed bullion programs precisely because their licensing arrangements carry no domestic circulation requirement.
