In the upper field, three characters from the Scooby-Doo animated franchise are depicted in high relief seated inside the van: Velma Dinkley at left wearing glasses, Daphne Blake at centre, and Fred Jones at right. The lower portion of the van body features the Public Seal of Niue within a raised circular cartouche, flanked by stylised flower motifs at either side. Shaggy Rogers is depicted at right, crouching in a green shirt and red trousers, enthusiastically eating an ice cream cone. The van interior is rendered in grey-blue tones, with the distinctive yellow-green side panels of the Mystery Machine visible at the edges of the field. The scene encapsulates the comedic gluttony associated with the two characters in the original animated series. |
