Reverse description Central field featuring a stylised mihrab (prayer niche) motif, rendered in bold relief with characteristic pointed arch form and flanking colonettes or pillar elements. Multiple lines of Arabic religious inscription in naskh script are contained within and below the arch of the mihrab, conveying the Shahada or other pious formulae. The overall composition is typical of late Ilkhanid and post-Ilkhanid coinage convention, with the mihrab serving as the dominant decorative and religious device on the reverse.
