| Obverse description | Central field features a double-outlined octolobe cartouche enclosing the royal titulature in Arabic script, with the sultan's name and title arranged within the lobes. The name of the mint and the regnal year written in full Arabic words appear within the individual lobes surrounding the central inscription. Decorative infinite knots are positioned above the inscriptions 'Sulayman' and 'Khan', while six-pointed stars serve as decorative separators before and after these honorific titles. The entire design is enclosed within a circular border, reflecting the typical ornate Ilkhanid die-cutting style. |

| Reverse description | The Shahada (Islamic declaration of faith) is inscribed on two lines in the central field within a beaded circle, with the text continuing around the perimeter within each sector of a projecting quatrefoil cartouche inscribed in a circle. The names of the four Rightly Guided Caliphs — Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, and Ali — are distributed one between each lobe of the quatrefoil. An infinite knot device occupies the center, and a grenetis borders the design, consistent with Ilkhanid religious coin iconography. |
