Reverse description Central field features a distinctive eye-shaped (mandorla) cartouche enclosing the name of the Ilkhan Sulayman rendered in Mongolian via Uyghur script. Surrounding the cartouche are additional legends in Arabic and Uyghur script arranged in horizontal lines, including the mint name and regnal year on various specimens. The overall design is characteristic of late Ilkhanid coinage blending Islamic and Mongolian epigraphic traditions within a dotted border.
