| Obverse description | The Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia state coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a torch with a flame rising above a wreath formed by six bundles of wheat bound together at the base with a ribbon dated 29·XI·1943, the date of Yugoslav statehood. A five-pointed star surmounts the torch. The circular legend is rendered in both Cyrillic and Latin scripts, reading СФР ЈУГОСЛАВИЈА above and SFR JUGOSLAVIJA below, separated by decorative dot ornaments, all within a beaded border. |

| Reverse description | The large numeral 2 dominates the central field as the denomination, flanked on either side by stylized wheat or grain stalks forming a laurel-like frame. The FAO motto FIAT PANIS arcs across the upper portion of the field, while a circular legend surrounding the central device renders the word for dinars in four languages separated by raised dots: ДИНАРА, DINARA, DINARJA, and ДИНАРИ. The date 1970 appears at the lower centre flanked by dots, with the legend FAO inscribed prominently at the very bottom. |
