| Obverse description | The Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia state coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a torch with a flame rising above a wreath formed by six bundles of wheat bound together at the base with a ribbon dated 29·XI·1943, the date of Yugoslav statehood. A five-pointed star surmounts the torch. The circular legend is rendered in both Cyrillic and Latin scripts, reading СФР ЈУГОСЛАВИЈА above and SFR JUGOSLAVIJA below, separated by decorative dot ornaments, all within a beaded border. |
