| 裏面の説明 | The reverse displays the large numeral '2' prominently in the center of the field, rendered in bold relief. To the left of the numeral, the Cyrillic denomination 'ДИНАРА' arcs upward, while the Latin equivalent 'DINARA' arcs upward on the right, together flanking the central figure. The date '1993' is inscribed in the lower exergual area beneath the numeral. A continuous beaded border frames the entire reverse design. |

Yugoslavia's 1993 coinage was issued during one of the worst hyperinflationary episodes in recorded history. By year's end, monthly inflation had exceeded two million percent, and the dinar was being redenominated so rapidly that this 2-dinar piece was effectively worthless within weeks of striking. The National Bank issued five distinct redenominations between 1990 and 1994.
Most examples survived uncirculated not through careful preservation but because the denomination became economically irrelevant before it could wear.
