American Bank Note Company held the printing contract for virtually the entire Nicaraguan series during this period, a relationship that dated back to the 1910s and reflected the tight financial supervision the United States maintained over Nicaragua following the Bryan-Chamorro Treaty.

The P#92 series ran across four years, with date ranges suggesting multiple print orders rather than a single production run. Survivors in circulated grades often show heavy tropical wear — Nicaragua's humid climate was consistently hard on paper currency of this weight.
