Ghana's lunar series issues are produced under license and struck abroad — almost certainly at a European private mint rather than the Security Printing Works in Tema. The Bank of Ghana has issued collector pieces of this type since the early 2010s, targeting the international numismatic market rather than domestic circulation. None see any meaningful use as currency.
