| Obverse description | The obverse is shaped in the outline of a stylized dragon form and features a right-facing effigy of King Charles III at center, surrounded by a circular legend reading 'CHARLES III · 2 CEDIS · REPUBLIC OF GHANA'. The inscription 'YEAR OF THE DRAGON 2024' appears in the upper field. The entire field is densely populated in high relief with miniature depictions of all twelve Chinese zodiac animals arranged in a continuous border pattern, lending a richly decorative character to the design. |

| Additional information |
Ghana's lunar series issues are produced under license and struck abroad — almost certainly at a European private mint rather than the Security Printing Works in Tema. The Bank of Ghana has issued collector pieces of this type since the early 2010s, targeting the international numismatic market rather than domestic circulation. None see any meaningful use as currency.
Gold-plated copper-nickel at this weight puts the precious metal content effectively at zero investment value — the appeal is purely collectible.
