The four-character reign title inscription 宣和通寶 (Xuanhe Tongbao) occupies the four cardinal positions within a broad, plain inner rim. The field is flat and largely featureless, with a raised outer rim encircling the entire obverse. The overall style is characteristic of the Huizong reign period iron coinage, with well-formed, upright characters in the kaishu tradition. |
