Reverse description Central field features the Travancore royal symbol — a stylised conch shell (shankha) surmounted by a floral or flame finial, rendered in bold relief occupying the upper portion of the die. Beneath the conch, the Tamil inscription 'காசு' (Cash) appears in the lower left field, with the Tamil numeral '௨' (2) to the lower right, denoting the denomination. The design is framed by a beaded border consistent with that of the obverse. The hammered technique imparts characteristic irregularity to the flan and relief. The composition and layout follow the standard coinage conventions of the Travancore Kingdom under Gowri Parvathi Bayi.
