| Reverse description | Plain reverse field with a central raised square hole (穿) framed by a raised inner rim. A single Chinese ideogram appears above the central perforation and one below: 漢 (Han) above, denoting the Hanyang Mint, and 元 (Yuan) below, indicating the first year of the Kaixi era (1205). The characters are cast in Regular script with moderate relief. The outer rim mirrors the obverse in width and definition, and the surface shows the characteristic granular texture of cast iron production. |
