The upper character 春 (Chun) identifies the Qichun Mint, while the lower character 柒 (Qi, meaning seven) denotes the year of issue within the Chunxi reign period. The fields are plain and relatively flat, with surface texture consistent with iron casting. The characters are boldly rendered with clear strokes despite the corrosion typical of iron coinage. |
