| 背面描述 | Central vignette of a forested mountain landscape in green intaglio-style print, within which a large sculptural face emerges from the rocky terrain at the right, rendered in a style evoking natural rock formations or a monumental relief. A serial number in red alphanumeric characters appears at upper left. Denomination numeral '2' is placed in guilloche medallions at upper left and lower right corners, with the text 'DE L'ART DE L'ANSE' running vertically along both side margins. The note is printed predominantly in green on a pale ground with a decorative guilloche border. |

L'Anse-Saint-Jean, a small municipality in the Saguenay region, declared itself a "kingdom" in 1997 as a tongue-in-cheek protest against Quebec municipal amalgamation policies that threatened to absorb smaller communities. The notes issued under the Royaume de L'Anse-Saint-Jean name are local scrip rather than legal tender — printed and circulated within the village as a combination of political statement and tourist novelty. The "2 Art" denomination references "Art" as the kingdom's invented currency unit, a deliberate pun on the French word for art and a nod to the community's cultural self-promotion.
