| Beschrijving voorzijde | Radiate head of Antiochos VIII facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic portraiture tradition with bold, expressive features. The radiate crown, composed of clearly delineated rays emanating from the diadem, identifies the king with solar divinity. The portrait is set within an unbordered circular field characteristic of Seleucid bronze coinage of this period. The flan shows the typical irregular edge of a struck bronze issue, with the portrait occupying the majority of the obverse field. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | An owl stands facing right atop a prostrate amphora, a motif evoking Athenian numismatic tradition adapted to Seleucid royal iconography. A palm branch appears in the lower field beneath the amphora. Control marks consisting of qP appear to the left and IE to the right of the central device. The Greek dynastic legend ΒΑΣΙΛΙΣΣΗΣ ΚΛΕΟΠΑΤΡΑΣ ΚΑΙ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΥ is distributed around the field, proclaiming the joint rule of Queen Cleopatra and King Antiochus. The inscription is set in two vertical columns flanking the owl, consistent with Seleucid bronze issues of the joint coinage period. |
