| Descrição do anverso |
Laureate head of Zeus facing left, rendered in a robust Hellenistic style with thick curling locks of hair and beard characteristic of Sicilian bronze coinage of the mid-third century BC. The facial features are boldly modelled, with a prominent brow and strong jaw, occupying the greater part of the flan. The laurel wreath is rendered in low relief, its individual leaves discernible across the crown. The flan is irregular, and the surfaces show an olive-green patina consistent with ancient bronze. |

| Descrição do reverso |
Eagle standing to left with wings displayed, depicted in a naturalistic Hellenistic manner with finely engraved feathers rendered in overlapping layers across the body and spread wings. A tripod is visible to the left of the eagle, serving as an emblem of civic or religious authority. The Greek legend ΑΛΑΙΣΑΣ ΑΡΧ, abbreviated for Alaisa Archonidea, is distributed in the field, partially along the right and upper periphery within a dotted border. The composition fills the flan vigorously, the eagle's tail and wing-tips nearly reaching the coin's irregular edge. |
