The effigy displays a mature, bearded visage characteristic of the Characene dynastic portraiture. The flan is irregular, typical of hammered provincial bronze coinage of the period, and the surfaces show a deep green patina consistent with ancient burial. Traces of a legend appear around the portrait within the field. |
