| 正面描述 | Left-facing effigy of King Charles III depicted in civilian dress, wearing a suit and tie, rendered in high relief with an antique finish. The portrait captures the King's mature likeness with considerable sculptural detail in the hair and facial features. The legend CHARLES III arcs along the upper left rim, while D·G·REX appears at the upper right, abbreviating the Latin dedication 'Dei Gratia Rex' (By the Grace of God, King). The denomination 175 DOLLARS is inscribed along the lower rim. The engraver's initials SR appear in small characters below the truncation of the bust. |

The "Predator or Prey" series has been one of the RCM's more commercially successful ultra-high-relief formats, leaning into the shadow box presentation — a deep-relief strike mounted within a layered frame that creates genuine dimensional separation between foreground and background elements. At 738 grams of .9999 silver, the planchet alone represents a substantial commitment of refined metal, and the production tolerances required for consistent relief depth at this diameter push the limits of what modern coining presses handle routinely.
Charles III coinage from the RCM carries his effigy by Canadian sculptor Steven Rosati, approved for circulation and collector issues following the King's accession in September 2022.
