The surface of the cheek and jaw is well modelled, with clearly articulated facial features. The neck is visible at the lower right, truncated at the flan edge. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A pilos (conical helmet of the Dioscuri) depicted frontally at center, flanked on either side by a six-pointed star, referencing the twin deities Castor and Pollux. The legend TOMI is inscribed in Greek characters in the lower field below the central devices, identifying the issuing city of Tomis. The composition is simple and schematic, typical of civic bronze coinage of the western Pontic region during the Hellenistic period. |
