| 裏面の説明 | Printed entirely in red-brown ink, the reverse is dominated by an elaborate guilloche border and lathe-work underprint surrounding a central rectangular vignette of a steam locomotive in motion, rendered in fine intaglio engraving. The denomination 0.16 appears in large bold numerals on both the left and right panels, with the spelled-out value DIEZ Y SEIS CENTESIMOS arching above the locomotive vignette and FUERTES set in a decorative cartouche below it. The imprint AMERICAN BANK NOTE CO. NEW YORK runs along the upper margin. |
