| Obverse description | Black intaglio print on white paper with a central vignette of a uniformed military portrait bust, facing slightly left, set within an oval frame. The bank title EL BANCO DE LA PROVINCIA DE BUENOS AYRES arcs across the top in bold letterpress, flanked on each side by the denomination numeral 0.16 in large ornamental figures.
