Obverse description Bare or helmeted head facing right, rendered in a somewhat crude provincial style characteristic of Oscan coinage of the period. The relief is low and the flan irregular, with the portrait occupying the central field. Surface patination is a deep reddish-brown, consistent with ancient bronze.
