| Beschrijving keerzijde | A single-handled skyphos or kantharos-type cup depicted in three-quarter view, centrally placed within the field. The Greek ethnic inscription ΤΙΣΝΑΙ (or ΤΙΣΝΑ) appears divided on either side of the vessel, identifying the issuing civic authority. The style and type are consistent with civic bronze coinage of western Asia Minor during the fourth century BC. |

Tisna was a Lydian city whose civic bronze coinage remains poorly documented in ancient sources, leaving much of what we know about its monetary history dependent on die studies and hoard evidence alone. This type, catalogued in both the Copenhagen and Munich SNG volumes, represents one of the very few bronze issues attributable to the city with any confidence.
