Aanvullende informatie

Togo's CFA franc coinage of the mid-2000s produced a wave of small-format gold issues nominally denominated in CFA francs but never intended for circulation — collector pieces issued under licensing arrangements that gave West African nations nominal issuing authority while the actual production and distribution ran through European minting and marketing firms. This piece commemorates the 175th anniversary of Goethe's death in 1832.
