The composition fills the entire field with dramatic blue-and-green mountains, expansive river valleys, pavilions, bridges, and clusters of trees rendered in vivid mineral pigment tones of cobalt blue, malachite green, and warm ochre, faithfully evoking the monumental scale and classical blue-and-green (青绿山水) style of the original work.
