Obverse description At center, the Lion Capital of Ashoka, the national emblem of India, depicted with four Asiatic lions atop an abacus bearing the Dharma Chakra flanked by a horse and bull in relief. Immediately below the emblem, the national motto in Devanagari script reads 'सत्यमेव जयते' (Satyameva Jayate). The country name 'भारत' appears along the left arc and 'INDIA' along the right arc of the field. The denomination '₹150' is prominently inscribed in large numerals across the lower portion of the field.
