Beschrijving voorzijde The obverse features a stylized close-up depiction of a table tennis paddle, rendered with a finely textured rubber surface occupying the central field, with the paddle handle extending toward the lower margin. The denomination legend '150 KUNA' arcs across the upper field, while 'REPUBLIKA HRVATSKA' curves along the left and right periphery. The engraver's monogram 'MD' appears in the lower field near the handle. The design is executed in a bold, modernist style with strong contrasts between the mirror-polished field and the matte relief of the paddle surface.

Aanvullende informatie

Issued to mark Croatia's participation in the 1996 Atlanta Games — the country's second Olympics as an independent nation, having debuted in Barcelona in 1992 following the declaration of independence in 1991. Atlanta was the first Games where Croatian athletes competed under fully normalized international recognition, free of the transitional arrangements that had governed their Barcelona entry.
