The cardinal is depicted wearing a skullcap, with his vestments visible at the truncation. The engraver's initials KH appear at lower left of the portrait. The legend KARDINAL ALOJZIJE STEPINAC curves along the upper rim, while the birth and death years 1898. - 1960. are inscribed along the lower right rim. |
